DJ HeaVyNeSS was born in the mid 1980’s and took to DJ’ing during his younger years.  He was introduced to the art by his father who often did weddings and gatherings for friends.  His fathers great sense of music selection kept crowds dancing until they couldn’t dance anymore.  Following in his fathers footsteps, DJ HeaVyNeSS acquired the same sense for selecting music, at a young age.

While in college, HeaVyNeSS began a quest to continue developing his skills in the art of DJing.  Learning the intricacies of mixing different musical genres became his primary focus.  During that time HeaVyNeSS experimented with several different tool sets such as analog turntables, digital CD players, and developed other keen ways to improve his musical skills.  The versatility gained from this has made it possible for him to entertain crowds of over 1000 people at different venues.

HeaVyNeSS has also crafted a unique musical sense.  His ability to play several genres of music has launched him into a different class of DJ’s.  Playing Hip Hop, RnB, Caribbean, Latin, World, and other music genres, has allowed him to gain a great following.  Using his fathers music selection skills, HeaVyNeSS has developed an unmatched style that is formulated to keep crowds dancing and wanting more, even after the night has ended.  Over the years, he has been blessed with the opportunity to share his talent all over the East Coast.
